The bacterial expression system presented here uses ecotin as a fusion partner that allows an easy, fast, and cost-effective way to prepare well-folded, biologically active nanobodies, within a few days for interaction experiments, such as testing SARS-CoV-2 neutralizing nanobodies by biolayer interferometry measurements.
